GLOBAL EXPOSURE

It’s been a whirlwind of coverage since we announced our 2020 winners in February of this year. Our winners have seen their work presented across many of the world’s most prestigious media titles, news outlets and TV channels, including the BBC, NBC, The Guardian, My Modern Met, The Daily Telegraph, NRC Netherlands, SAT.1 Germany, South China Morning Post, PetaPixel and many more.

Not only is it so encouraging to see their work getting exposure to millions of people around the globe but it’s also gratifying to know that our philosophy is also coming to fruition. And that is to celebrate the world’s best nature and wildlife photographers whilst highlighting the beauty of this planet that we all need to work harder to preserve.

RECOGNITION

[Winning has] given me such a boost in my photography career. I am forever thankful!
— Dale Paul

Our photographers have relished the recognition. The grand prize went to Thomas Vijayan of Canada. He not only won the title of World Nature Photographer of the Year but also took home a $1000 cash prize. Thomas said: “I am super delighted to win this competition.”

Our other winners have found their competition success equally thrilling. Harry Skeggs said he was “honoured”, Darren Donovan feels “blessed” and Vittorio Ricci declared: “It's a great pleasure for me to be among so many stunning pics and photographers.”
